Now, they can simply ask “which Bahamian restaurants offer delivery in my area?” This reduces the amount of time users have to call multiple places to get information or visit their sites. Breaking down the information allows consumers to get what they want faster and has also helped these businesses get rankings where they otherwise would either be unable to utilize SEO or even AdWords because of the competition.

However, the biggest benefit of this is actually in the conversion rates. The more detailed someone gets on their search, the higher the chances of a conversion. If someone searches for “Black Friday deals on TV’s,” they are just looking for basic information. If someone searches for “Who has the best deals on 80″ televisions for Black Friday or Cyber Monday,” it’s a safe bet that they are ready to buy.

This strategy needs to be adopted by businesses who want to improve their digital marketing efforts. SEO conversions are up for this reason and smart owners and managers are adapting to it. However, you need to do more than just focus on keyword selection. Content including blogs and videos that answer these questions will be valuable as well and help generate new traffic and potential business.

Spend some time writing down questions your customers usually ask and add them to your FAQ and other content efforts. Even posting on social media and asking people what questions they usually have can help you get more insight into what topics you need to cover.
